Statement of Faith and Beliefs
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inerrant inspired word of God and as the basis for our beliefs. This Church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of “The Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit we voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ.
We commit to:
1. Share Christ’s salvation, forgiveness, and love for all mankind in our church, community, state, and throughout the world (Acts 1:8)
2. Being a fellowship open to all people of like faith and belief
(Psalm 119:63)
3. Offer opportunities to grow in Christian faith (II Peter 3:18)
4. Help the body discover their spiritual gift(s) and apply it (them) to their life for use in the body and personal ministry (I Corinthians 12:4)
5. Encourage regular participation in Biblical worship of the
Lord Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
